About Christina
I am a high school student in the class of 2027 at Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, New Hampshire. I am interested in mechanical engineering, robotics, product design, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, writing, music, athletics, and service.
A builder and learner
Section titled “A builder and learner”I learn best by building, testing, and improving. Through FRC Team 811, I work on CAD and mechanical design for competition robots, including subsystems such as intake, indexer, and shooter mechanisms. Robotics has helped me understand how design choices affect durability, repairability, autonomous behavior, and how well mechanical, electrical, and programming teams can work together.
My coursework includes AP Computer Science A, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science Principles, honors math, and other STEM classes. I am an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society.
Creativity and service
Section titled “Creativity and service”I also care about creative work. I wrote the children’s book The Yawn That Traveled the World, published through Amazon KDP. I sang soprano for many years, including a Carnegie Hall performance in 2022, and I have participated in theater, photography, culinary work, rowing, and volleyball.
Entrepreneurship and service are part of how I think about building. Bubble Buddies started as a handmade soap idea with an embedded toy for kids, later becoming a project connected to service. In a Dartmouth entrepreneurship program, the idea earned second place and a $500 award, which was donated to Webster House in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Looking ahead
Section titled “Looking ahead”I am still figuring out the exact shape of my future, but the pattern is already clear: I like practical engineering, human-centered products, creative discipline, and projects that connect curiosity with usefulness.
